In the beginning of 2023, Ms. Arguelles, the Aventura City of Excellence School dance teacher, had a brilliant idea! She wanted to have the ACES school dance team professionally photographed, focusing on individual portraits of each dancer. This project aimed to highlight the unique talent and personality of each student. As a professional photographer, I had the privilege of working with these talented dancers and capturing their essence through my lens.
The ACES dance team consists of a diverse group of students, each bringing their unique flair and passion for dance. Our photoshoot took place in their school’s gym and dance room, which offered a perfect space for creative and expressive portraits.
The heart of this project was the individual portraits. Each dancer had their moment to shine, allowing their personality and style to come through in every shot. We focused on capturing their favorite moves, expressions, and the details of their costumes. These portraits not only showcase their talent but also their dedication and love for dance.
Photographing the ACES dance team was a truly rewarding experience. Their enthusiasm and spirit made the photoshoot enjoyable and inspiring. I am grateful to Ms. Arguelles for her vision and the opportunity to capture these remarkable young dancers. The individual portraits serve as a lasting tribute to their talent and the vibrant energy they bring to the ACES dance team.
