A sneak peak into Ellie’s Bat Mitzvah at Beth Torah (Benny Rok Campus).
First of all, Beth Torah is beautiful!! Such a great space for a Bat/Bar Mitzvah!
We met about an hour before the service to capture all of these photos ahead of time so the service could remain uninterrupted and everyone could stay fully present in the moment. It’s definitely something to think about when planning your timeline, since some rabbis and synagogues have very strict rules about photography during the service
Earlier this year, we did her pre-shoot in Wynwood, which was such a fun contrast to the synagogue photos from her bat mitzvah day. Wynwood was the perfect location to capture her personality and style. Between the colorful walls and relaxed atmosphere, we were able to create photos that felt modern, fun, and completely her.
It was such an honor to be part of this Ellie’s Bat Mitzvah at Beth Torah, and I’m so grateful I’ve been able to capture so many milestones for this wonderful family over the years.
